How Does it Work?
Screen printing is a method of applying ink directly to the surface of an item in order to be printed (substrate). The image is then photographically transferred to a very fine fabric (the screen) to ensure that the non-printing areas are blocked off and with the remaining fabric serving as the stencil for the design.
The ink will then be swiped across the screen to pass through the unblocked pores in order to reach the substrate. A separate screen is prepared and used for each individual colour.
